Our Mission
Community On The Frontlines is dedicated to empowering communities by focusing on community justice, mental health, and economic opportunity. We promote systemic change through various resources for individuals and families in need.
Our Initiatives
Launched in March 2026 through a partnership between Chair Krystal Oriadha, Unleashed Joy, LLC, and Community on the Frontline, the District 7 Play & Learn Program (Learning Circles) is a free early learning initiative serving children ages 1–4 and their caregivers in Prince George's County.
Designed to support healthy early childhood development, the program uses engaging, play-based learning experiences to strengthen speech and language skills, encourage socialization, and prepare young children for school success.
Program Highlights​

Who Can Participate: Children ages 1–4 and their parents or caregivers.

Developmental Focus: Speech and language development, school readiness, social-emotional growth, and interactive play.

Program Structure: An 8-week cohort facilitated by a certified Speech-Language Pathologist, culminating in a family celebration and graduation ceremony.

Flexible Scheduling: Families may choose to attend one, two, or three sessions per week based on their needs.

Our Goal: To strengthen families, promote early childhood development, connect children with developmental support services when needed, and provide a fun, nurturing, and educational environment.

The program is led by Unleashed Joy, LLC, a Prince George's County-based early childhood education provider dedicated to helping young children build the skills and confidence they need to thrive.
District 7 Play and Learn Program

The District 7 Senior Lawn Care Program provides free seasonal lawn maintenance services to eligible senior residents throughout Prince George's County District 7. Through a partnership with A-One Lawn Service, LLC, the program helps seniors maintain safe, attractive, and well-kept properties while supporting their ability to remain in their homes with dignity and independence.

Program Highlights

Who Can Participate: Eligible senior residents living in Prince George's County District 7.

Services Provided: Professional lawn mowing, trimming, edging, and general lawn maintenance throughout the season.

Community Impact: Serves approximately 300 senior households, helping improve curb appeal, reduce safety hazards, and ease the physical demands of yard maintenance.

Our Goal: To support older adults by providing reliable lawn care services that promote safety, independence, and pride in homeownership while enhancing the overall appearance of District 7 neighborhoods.

The program is delivered by A-One Lawn Service, LLC, a local small business committed to serving the Prince George's County community with professionalism, quality, and care. Through this partnership, District 7 continues to invest in programs that honor and support its senior residents while strengthening neighborhoods across the community.
District 7 Senior Lawn Care Program
The Oriadha Global Fellowship Program (OGFP) is a leadership development initiative created through a partnership between Diplomatic Perspective, Community on the Frontline (COTF), and Prince George's County Council Chair Krystal Oriadha. Designed for Prince George's County public high school students, the fellowship equips the next generation of leaders with the knowledge, skills, and experiences needed to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.
Through weekly leadership sessions, mentorship, civic engagement, career exploration, and global learning opportunities, fellows develop cultural competency, expand their professional networks, and gain firsthand exposure to careers in public service, diplomacy, international affairs, and global leadership.

Program Highlights

Who Can Participate: Prince George's County public high school students with an interest in leadership, civic engagement, higher education, career readiness, and global opportunities.

Leadership Development: Weekly fellowship sessions featuring diplomats, government officials, educators, business leaders, and community changemakers who provide mentorship, leadership training, and career guidance.

Civic & Career Exploration: Hands-on experiences with local government, public service, international affairs, education, technology, and global development, including educational visits and leadership activities.

Global Readiness: Fellows receive support through the U.S. Passport Project®, preparing them for future international educational and cultural experiences.

Professional Mentorship: Students are paired with vetted industry professionals who provide guidance, networking opportunities, and support throughout the fellowship.

Community Impact: Fellows earn community service hours while strengthening their leadership skills and commitment to serving their communities.

Program Completion: The fellowship concludes with a graduation ceremony recognizing participants for their leadership growth, civic engagement, and commitment to global citizenship.

International Opportunity: Fellowship graduates become eligible for the Alumni Cultural Immersion Program (ACIP), a fully funded 7–10 day international educational experience that provides cultural exchange, historical exploration, leadership development, and global learning opportunities abroad.

Our Goal: To prepare Prince George's County students to become globally minded leaders by expanding access to leadership development, civic engagement, mentorship, career exploration, international affairs education, and transformative global experiences that inspire lifelong learning and public service.

The program is led by Diplomatic Perspective, a Maryland-based nonprofit organization dedicated to developing the next generation of global leaders through education, mentorship, and international engagement. In partnership with Community on the Frontline and Council Chair Krystal Oriadha, the Oriadha Global Fellowship Program continues to create pathways for Prince George's County students to lead locally while making an impact globally.
Oriadha Global Fellowship Program (OGFP)
The Mothers First Initiative is a comprehensive maternal support program created through a partnership between The Nü You Inc., Community on the Frontline (COTF), and Prince George's County Council Chair Krystal Oriadha. Serving families throughout Prince George's County, with a special focus on District 7, the initiative provides mothers with the resources, support, and community they need to thrive at every stage of motherhood.
Through in-home support services, educational programming, community gatherings, resource navigation, and virtual engagement, the program helps reduce isolation, strengthen family well-being, and empower mothers with the tools and connections needed to build healthy, resilient families.

Who Can Participate: Mothers and families throughout Prince George's County, with a special focus on District 7.

In-Home Support: The Mama Needs a Hand program provides no-cost, in-home assistance to help mothers manage the everyday demands of parenting and household responsibilities.

Community Connection: Monthly meetups create opportunities for mothers to build meaningful relationships, share experiences, and strengthen their support networks.

Education & Resources: Interactive workshops and resource navigation connect families with valuable information, local services, and tools that support maternal and family well-being.

Virtual Support: A virtual cohort extends access to education, peer support, and community engagement beyond in-person programming.

Family Well-Being: The initiative focuses on reducing social isolation, increasing access to resources, and promoting healthier outcomes for mothers and their families.
